Matter setup
Add a device. Share the control.
Setup order changes the handoff, not the goal. A compatible Matter device can be shared into more than one Matter fabric.

New device? Start in Air Sensei Home.
Scan the setup code, choose a room, and let the app commission the device to the Air Sensei Matter fabric and an available Thread network.

Already set up elsewhere?
Open the sharing or add-controller flow in the device's current Matter app, then use its temporary sharing code to add Air Sensei as another administrator.

Share outward when you want.
After Air Sensei setup, open a Matter commissioning window to share compatible controls with another supported ecosystem—without a factory reset.
Does setup order matter?
Use Air Sensei first—or share it in later.
The ecosystem that commissions a device first normally has to authorize the next one. Choose “Share” or “Add another controller” there, then add the temporary Matter code in Air Sensei Home. Multi-admin support depends on the device and target ecosystem.
